1. What is it?

The jacketed glass reactor — also known as double layer jacketed glass reactor — is a core piece of equipment for temperature-controlled stirred reactions in chemical, pharmaceutical, and fine chemical laboratories, especially during small-to-medium scale testing. This 2L model features a high-borosilicate glass body with a double-layer jacket structure. By circulating heating or cooling medium through the jacket, it provides accurate and stable temperature control for a wide range of chemical processes, including low-temperature, high-temperature, vacuum, reflux, and more.
