Working Principle of the Wet Gas Scrubber System
When the circulation pump starts, the absorption liquid is pumped from the round-bottom absorption vessel through the condenser and delivered to the spray nozzle at the top of the packed column. The liquid is evenly distributed over the packing material and flows downward by gravity, returning to the absorption tank.
During this process, exhaust gas enters the scrubber and flows counter-currently through the packed column, ensuring sufficient gas–liquid contact. Harmful gases and aerosols are efficiently absorbed or neutralized, allowing the laboratory gas scrubber system to achieve high removal efficiency.
For high-temperature exhaust gases, the condenser cools the absorption liquid before recirculation. The system can also be combined with active absorption methods, such as nitrogen carrier gas or vacuum-assisted gas flow, to further optimize chemical exhaust gas treatment.
